It cost a ton of money to have a
million-man standing army, nevertheless, but that's what China has.
Currently, it's simply not in our budget in the United States to a
million-man standing army, as it costs us quite a bit more to field,
train, and outfit a single soldier. Of course, we feed our soldiers more
than just rice with the occasional fish, and we also take care of our
soldiers when they are injured, and give them retirement benefits. We
take care of our own, it's different here.
But what if we had a robotic army, where every human soldier had his own squad of 15 to 30 robotic humanoid soldiers? The human would be the master controller for the robots. The robots would look just like humans, but they wouldn't be organic in any way. How might we go about building a robotic army? This is a serious problem, and one we must address because this is our future, it just costs too much to have, house, uniform, and take care of that many soldiers.
Human wars will continue to be our inevitable future, and I don't see mankind forgoing future wars, especially considering some of our future potential opponents. Now then, I propose that we use exoskeleton to help train bipedal humanoid soldiers using artificial intelligent programming. Our current soldiers will wear the exoskeletons in training to help with fine tuning balancing algorithms, efficiency, and speed.
Consider if you will chasing terrorists or insurgents through a town, and into their hiding place. That's quite dangerous due to sniper fire, and unknown terrain, which clearly gives the advantage to the enemy. But if we have robotic soldiers, they will not be subjected to some of the challenges that humans face with their soft skin and fragile frames. The soldiers which are non-organic will be stronger, faster, fearless, bold, brave, and relentless, well, until they run out of batteries.
If we take everything that evolution has already taught humans, and we engineer those efficiencies into these future robotic soldiers, along with everything the algorithms and artificial intelligence have learned from exoskeleton use, we will have all we need to make this a future reality. Some might say that's not fair, but I would submit to you that; war is not fair, nor is it a pleasurable experience. The trick here is to win, and for that you need numbers and firepower. Please consider all this and think on it.
